400-hectare property with 9 cores and capacity for 1 million breeding stock. The farms use the Dark House breeding system and all birds go through a selection, vaccination process and, every 5 weeks, a laboratory accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply provides serological monitoring of the birds.
With 18 housed housings, the own farms with reforestation areas have air-conditioned egg rooms containing 560 thousand housed houses and production of 96 million eggs / year. Eggs are sorted, selected and transported daily to the hatchery using air-conditioned transport.
Currently, 96 million eggs are incubated a year in a modern hatchery that operates using state-of-the-art electronic equipment with strict biosafety control and restricted access. All 81 million chicks born during the year go through a selection process, then are vaccinated and transported in suitable vehicles by staff trained to provide the correct housing.
The entire production of 1,100 tons / day of this unit is directed to the supply of integrated aviaries. The feed consists only of raw material of a higher standard produced in other units of the Tomazini Group and undergoes a rigorous analysis process carried out by an own laboratory installed inside the factory, which guarantees the best performance of the birds in the field and a food excellent quality for the final consumer.
Approved by the control of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), the factory currently produces 160 tons of feed per day, exclusively of vegetable origin, with 100% of the raw material evaluated by the control quality to ensure the biosecurity of birds.
Operating under an integration regime capable of housing 14 million birds in 60-day cycles, Friato gathers approximately 450 poultry houses, 20 of which are owned by the brand. In this model, the company's obligations are: deliver the 1-day-old chicks to the integrated partners, provide the necessary feed and provide technical field support for breeding. The maintenance of poultry houses and the hiring of labor are the responsibility of each breeder. All farms are installed within an average radius of 20km from the industrial complex to facilitate the control of hygiene and handling that is carried out regularly by Friato technicians.
Daily slaughter capacity of 320 thousand birds and 1,2 thousand tons per day of finished products. The unit receives only animals raised on its own or integrated farms. In the refrigerator, technological processes are carried out for plucking, eviscerating, cooling, cutting, packaging, freezing and storage of up to 3.5 thousand tons. All stages are controlled by employees trained and qualified to handle perishable products. Each of the processes strictly obeys all federal regulations, food security programs and Self-control programs required by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply.
The Friato industrialization process is carried out using state-of-the-art automated equipment and strict control of selection and classification of the raw material. All steps comply with food safety standards and the requirements of HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points). The result is a final product with excellent quality and more flavor for the consumer.
